Nikon D800 and D800E Price



Nikon has finally released the news of D800 the long awaited replacement for the Nikon D700. For the first time, Nikon has announced2 models of the D800 and D800E.  According to Nikon, the D800E is meant for professional use while the D800 is catered for serious hobbyist. The new D800 features a whopping high 36.3 MP  (7360 x 4912 resolution) FX CMOS sensor! Currently the highest among other Nikon’s model.

Hsipaw

River and buffaloes. A baby buffalo cost around 300 USD



 

Hsipaw or Thipaw is a small town that is around 5 hours by bus away north of Mandalay. This charming small town is located in Shan State , 500M above sea level is inhabited mostly by Shan people and various indigenous people. The Shan are mostly Buddhist with completely different language from Burmese. I came here with plan to stay one night or two however I got hooked around 5 nights here. What can be better than cycling bicycle around the farms and villages with fresh air, cheap beers and water buffaloes.

Nikon D4 Price in Malaysia



Finally after all the rumours, ranting, panting and news leak the top notch dslr , D4 has been officially announced. Nikon has been quite silent on 2011 except for some smaller format camera. This is possibly the biggest announcement from Nikon since the D7000 and the floods in Bangkok that has wrecked production line in Thailand.

Travelling to Mandalay

Mandalay would be the second largest city in Myanmar. This city is normally quite far up the north and would be in the list of tourist route to travel. There are plenty of licensed guesthouses at the downtown of Mandalay but it get cramped in the peak season at the end of year so booking early may be wise.

Villages in Myanmar, Bagan

It’s good to travel off tourist route once on a bicycle. Luckily there are plenty of local villages behind the to town Ngaung U, Bagan for me to expore around. I checked my maps and decided to spend at least one day exploring it.
