A studio flash is not perfect witout a decent trigger and Yongnuo seems somewhat capable of doing the job. In recent years the market has been flooded with Chinese made cheap studio products. Some are really bad in quality products, some are decent and none are perfect products. When it is cheap and it is made in China, there has to be some kind of catch.

Update: Nikon J1 and V1 will be released in Malaysia on 19th of October at the Nikon Show in Midvalley
After months and months of reading rumors , Nikon finally announced J1, V1 the first range of Nikon mirror less camera system. V1 is catered for serious amateur while J1 is targeted for consumer use . I wonder what got the latecomer Nikon into the race of small interchangeable lens camera, but I’m guessing there are plenty of die hard Nikon fans out there who will sell their Nex or Pen for a 1 system.
Nikon J1 and V1 comes with an Expeed3 10.1-megapixel sensor and it’s capable of doing 1080p Full HD video recording. All of 1 system uses 1 lens mount. The difference between these two camera would be the viewfinder, sizes , weight and added functionality on V1.
1 system is in newly developed CX format. So it’s different than the existing SLRs format. Which you may need to invest on entire new range of lenses if you are planning to go serious on CX. F-mount Adapter may be developed on the road map. But god knows the compatibilities of different format lenses and bodies
The 1 System
Now this may sounds like a plagiarism to 1Malaysia (Datin Ng Yen Yen should have patented it) but it seems Nikon has decided to name it the 1 system , 1 nikkor lens , Nikon 1 speedlight and many more
To be honest, the design looks kind of 80s, one of those 80s science fiction movie. It looks kind of dull I will no doubt get a Fuji X100 for this price. But wait here’s some functionality if V1
