Nikon 35mm f/1.4 G AF-S price in malaysia
I actually bought at 35mm f1.8 thinking that it will perform as good as 50mm f1.4 but ended up selling the 35mm f1.8 a few days later. By then I realized F1.4 and F1.8 lenses are just entirely different league of lens. Nikon released this newly updated 35mm f1.4 af-s just around end of 2010. I was actually more interested in 50mm 1.4 but however I got hooked when I was testing 35mm f1.4 , the bokeh is amazing for a 35mm !
Now this beauty cost a heavy bomb

Shooting Experience
This lens is heavy. Particularly bulky than what I expected compare to other short prime lens I’ve used. Autofocus is fast.
IQ
Mounted on a D7000, this lens is sharp however not at f1.4. Sharpness increase with increased aperture number. This is quite frustrating as you buy a f1.4 lens at rm 5000 , so I expected to shoot at f1.4 and still sharp photos. The sharpness starts somewhere at f1.8 , f2. Bokeh is absolutely fantastic. If you have a 35mm f1.8 and you expect 35mm f1.4 to perform the same at f1.8 , you are absolutely wrong. The bokeh is completely different as for the sharpness.

Thing I dislike about this camera
- Cost a bomb
- Not the sharpness is expected at f1.4
- Heavy
You should be careful with shooting at large aperture with this lens. Any misfocusing may cause the photo to be out of focus as the depth is high.
I shall update when I get to shoot more with this lens
